Quran Written With The Blood Of Saddam Hussein; The Blood Quran.

We’ve heard of fanatical lovers writing letters to their beloved in blood. But Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein took this practice to a new level. In the late 1990s, he commissioned a calligrapher to make a copy of the Qur’an, using his own blood as ink. For the project, Saddam donated 7 gallons (27 liters) of blood over the course of two years – the time it took for the book to be completed. The book still exists, and no one knows what to do with it.

This Man Can Slice A Speeding Bullet With His Blade.

There are some things you would only expect from superheroes or action heroes; like slicing a bullet in half with a blade. So when a real-life, modern-day samurai does it, it’s certainly worth ooh-ing and aah-ing over. Isao Machii, who has been honing his sword skills since the age of five, is able to slice a pea-sized bullet traveling at 200 miles per hour, fired at him from a BB gun from about 70 feet away, in mid-air.

Pastor Chris Letter To The Media On Nollywood

"Hello my brethren, by the special grace of God, I am Pastor Chris C. Godwin, the president of World Missionary Assistance Nigeria and the Shepherd of Fire House Ministries Lagos. I am writing to the media based on what I have foreseen coming up against the film industry of this our beloved Nation, of which if care is not taken, big calamity will befall this growing industry."

"The devil is fighting this film industry very well, most of these actors end up behaving and living what they acted in films, which is not suppose to be. After acting a particular film, no film is ordinary, there is a spirit behind every film you act, and every life you expose, every society you expose, every deity you expose."

Britain Should Leave EU - Former Commission Chief

Britain could leave the European Union and enter into a different sort of partnership with the political and economic bloc instead, former EU Commission chief Jacques Delors said yesterday.
“The British are solely concerned about their economic interests, nothing else. They could be offered a different form of partnership,” Delors told the business daily Handelsblatt in an interview.
Opinion polls increasingly show Britons favour a full exit from the EU, which is widely perceived in Britain as meddling in domestic affairs and wasting money during a time of austerity at home.

7 Die During Fitness Tests

South African media say provincial authorities are investigating the deaths of seven job-seekers who collapsed in the heat while undergoing a fitness test for positions as traffic officers.
The chief transport official for KwaZulu-Natal province, Willies Mchunu, has suspended further test in the meantime.
The state-owned South African Broadcasting Corporation reported that several tens of thousands of people took the fitness test late last week, even though only 90 jobs were available. They were required to run four kilometers (2.5 miles) in temperatures of more than 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), and many collapsed from dehydration and heat exhaustion. Some received hospital treatment.
South Africa's official statistics show that the unemployment rate is 25 percent, an indication why so many were applying for the 90 jobs.

The Mummy Baby: 6500 Years old Peruvian Child Naturally Mummified In The Hot, Desert Environment.

This Peruvian child mummy, known as the "Detmold Child," has been radiocarbon dated to 4504-4457 B.C. more than 3,000 years before the birth of King Tut. The child, which was about 10 months old when it died, naturally mummified in the hot, arid desert environment.

More than 6,500 years ago in Peru, this tiny baby's brief battle for life finally came to an end. The child, no more than 10 months old, had a serious heart defect and suffered from growth problems.

After contracting pneumonia and then suffering circulation failure the sick child died and was wrapped in linen and buried with an amulet hung around its neck.

A Growing Number Of Women Are Having Their Toes Shortened Or Completely Removed In Order To Make Wearing Stilettos A Less-painful Experience.(Details)

According to the American Podiatric Medical Association, eighty-seven percent of women have had foot problems from wearing uncomfortable or ill-fitting shoes, like high-heels. But while some give-up on the problematic footwear, others love wearing them so much they will appeal to surgical procedures such as shortening toes, receiving foot injections and even completely cutting off pinky toes in order to make walking in them bearable. “Unless you’ve been there, and you can’t find shoes, and you’re in pain, don’t judge,” Susan Deming, a patient who recently had one of her toes shortened, told Fox News. “I was having calluses, and just, all sorts of problems with my left foot.  And there finally was a solution.  There’s never been a solution before.” Some of Susan’s toes were longer than the others, making her left foot an entire size longer than her right foot, so she cut off about a centimeter off her second toe. “I’ve never felt this good about something I’ve done,” she said.  “If it’s vain, it’s vain.”

Sam Alexander The Man With Two Faces; A Man With A Kind Heart & A Face To Match.

Sam Alexander was born a relatively average man. In his early 20’s he was actively pursuing a career in theatre and had been recently promoted at the Shubert Theatre in Chicago when personal disaster struck. Although the details are a little sketchy, Sam was ultimately involved in a huge gasoline explosion that was the result of his own carelessness. While he was able to instinctively save his eyes by raising his arm, he received deep burns around his lips and lower face. Even more unfortunate, his wounds festered and became severely infected. Doctors were forced to remove much of his lower face and lips, practically to the bone. As a result, Sam Alexander was left with a permanent and disturbing teeth-gnashing grimace and a gruesome visage.

See Photo: The Lonely Tree Of Ténéré Is The Most Isolated Tree On Earth.

L'Arbre du Ténéré, known in English as the Tree of Ténéré, was a solitary acacia, of either Acacia raddiana or Acacia tortilis, that was once considered the most isolated tree on Earth— the only one for over 400 kilometres (250 mi).

It was a landmark on caravan routes through the Ténéré region of the Sahara in northeast Niger — so well known that it and the Arbre Perdu or 'Lost Tree' to the north are the only trees to be shown on a map at a scale of 1:4,000,000. The Tree of Ténéré was located near a 40-metre (131 feet)-deep well. It was knocked down by a drunk truck driver in 1973.

Why I Might Drop the iPhone 5 for the Galaxy Note II, and you should too - Forbes

I’ve been wrestling with how the iPhone 5 is since I got it. I paid full whack – just shy of $700 – for it, off-contract, just to be part of the same Apple iClub I’ve been in since the first one came out and everybody thought a Smartphone was a dumb idea. And I didn’t like it. I really wanted to. I told people it was awesome, that the LTE was finally there and made me so happy. I told everyone the Maps were great, and then I was in a parking lot half a mile from where I was meant to be. It was cold. It was rainy. I picked up the phone to ask the restaurant where I was, and had to repeat myself eight times to even get an idea of where I was.
After however many days it’s been since September, I’ve found the device infuriating. I forgave a lot of the iPhone 4S – it was, after all, over a year old, and the iPhone 5 would solve these problems. But I found it inconsistent, unfriendly to even the most casual business user. Searching for an email I’d sent only fifteen minutes previously was impossible. My calendar synced maybe once in eight tries. Phone calls were almost always met with a chorus of “Wuh-haaaat” and snickering at my accent.

From The Archive(s): How Renowned Globe-Trotter And Socialite, Olabisi Ajala Died In Penury In Lagos.

It is really heart wrecking because thousands of unsung and unknown Nigerians die
by the minute in similar or worst circumstances.
Can you imagine Bisi Ajala dying like a homeless dog? Oh, Bisi Ajala!!
Ebenezer Obey composed an "owambe" music for him in the 70's. I can just
recall the lyrics as,  " Ajala travels all over the world, Ajala travels all
over the world, Ajala travels, Ajala travels, Ajala travel all over the
world...."
And where was this man's many children and family? No where to be found. What
a pity! How many married folks cry to the LORD every second for children? How
many marriages have been dissolved because of no children? May God save our
families and our children to be there for us at old age.
Folks, it is news like this that breaks my heart for Nigeria and Nigerians.
How come must of Nigerians have become "olowo aano" ( Yesterday's Rich folks)?
How come majority of Nigerians have lived the better parts of their earthly
existence already?

Britain's most expensive street: The Chelsea crescent where £12m will buy you a four-bed terrace with a tiny garden

Billionaires' row: Egerton Crescent, where the average property costs over £8million. Most of the homes belong to super-wealthy foreigners

With its white stucco-fronted facade and neatly-trimmed rows of box trees, it is certainly an address that’s easy on the eye.
But the properties on Egerton Crescent, SW3, are most definitely not easy on the pocket.

In fact the terrace in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London has just been named the most expensive street in Britain. More photos after the cut....

Rihanna Goes Full Nude Again!

Rihanna was in her native country of Barbados last week to spend the holidays with her family. While on the balcony of her hotel with the curtains wide open, Rihanna took off her bikini to put on her underwear. There were paparazzi lurking around (which she was probably aware of) and they zoomed in their camera and captured Rihanna in all her glory.

Lady Finger for Diabetes: Lady Finger is "OKRA ".

Lady Finger for Diabetes
Please note that another name for
Lady Finger is "OKRA ".

Take two pieces of Lady Finger and remove/cut both ends of each Piece. Also put a small cut in the middle and put these two pieces in glass of water.
Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature during night.
Early morning, before breakfast simply remove two pieces of lady Finger from the glass and drink that water.
Keep doing it on daily basis. Within two weeks, you will see remarkable results in reduction of your SUGAR. My sister has got rid of her diabetes. She was on Insulin for a few years, but after taking the lady fingers every morning for a few months, she has stopped Insulin but continues to take the lady fingers every day. But she chops the lady fingers into fine pieces in the night, adds the water and drinks it all up the next morning.

Please. try it as it will not do you any harm even if it does not do much good to you, but U have to keep taking it for a few months before U see results, as most cases might be chronic.

D’BANJ AND DAVIDO’S ELDER SISTER, SHARON INTIMATE?

For those who know hip hop star D’banj(Dapo Oyebanjo), they will confirm it that he is indeed a guy who can get any woman he wants any day, anytime.
Despite the fact that he is well-endowed in his pocket, the multiple award winning musician is a very handsome dude with a smooth and reserved way of life.
However, of recent a tale of a relationship of sort has been brewing between the highly revered musician, who is known amongst his cronies, as Kokomaster and Davido’s elder sister, Sharon Adeleke and this seems to be drawing some attention towards the pop star.
Sources revealed that the rumour started when Sharon was recently spotted with D’banj at the EME’s baddest concert that held at Ocean view restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday 21st of December 2012, chatting amorously and taking pictures.
Since then, the rumour mills have been agog, but associates of the G.O.O.D music artiste, have wondered where the story originated from, as they have totally denied the existence of any such relationship between the two.
