The Edo State Police Command of the Nigeria Police Force has declared a manhunt for a suspected witness of a dastardly murder that was likely committed in the early hours of Christmas Day.

The manhunt followed the arrest by the Ikpoba Hill Police Division of the suspected murderer, Mr. Festus Aimufua, for the wicked murder of one Ms. Rose Aifuwa, a middle-aged Benin woman based in Austria, who had come home in a healthy, hale and hearty condition to celebrate the Christmas and New Year festivities with her family and friends.

A new documentary marks the first time a camera crew has gained access to a Direct Provision Centre.

IN A DOCUMENTARY  aired TV3 which explored Ireland’s much-criticised Direct Provision (DP) system.

For The Irish Asylum Seeker Scandal, the station gained access to a DP centre in Mosney, Co. Meath – the first time any camera crew has been inside one of the facilities.

More than 4,500 people currently live in 34 DP centres nationally.

The system is supposed to deal with asylum seekers within six months of their arrival, but many have been living in centres for up to 10 years because of delays in processing their applications for refugee status.

Mohammad, 40,and Zenabibbi Wadiwala, 42, used false names in their bid to remain in the UK after fleeing religious turmoil in their native India.

It was six years before the true identities of the pair – known to the authorities by fake names Jakir and Shabnam Sheikh – were uncovered by Immigration Service investigators in the UK, Burnley Crown Court heard.

The couple, who have five children, three of whom were born in Britain, could now be deported.

A woman scalded her husband in fury over his first wife. Tafadzwa Mundove (17) who resides at house number 44 Mbizi Road could not stomach the visit of her husband’s first wife at their place of residence.
