Photo: Man Cuts Off His Wife’s Hand In Abia Over Adultery

A man identified as Jacob Nwachukwu has reportedly cut off his wife’s left hand over an allegation of infidelity at Abala in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

It was gathered that the victim, Nwadiokeonu Nwachukwu, is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital in Aba, while her severed hand had been taken to her husband’s village at Abala for burial.

A female co-tenant of Mrs. Nwachukwu, who pleaded anonymity, told reveal that the couple had lived in the city for years before the husband lost his job and had to relocate to the village, leaving his wife, a trader, in the city.

A statement released today, by the group, read: “The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) is the only militant group from the Niger Delta region who are presently engaged in a dialogue with the FG – through oil companies and security agencies -with a view to resolving the current Niger Delta crisis.

Thus far, the deliberations have been fruitful, various concessions and guarantees have already been secured. Some of which include, but are not limited to: Release of Henry Okah, Charles Okah and Obi Nwabueze; Review of the life sentence handed to Edmund Ebiware based on a proposal put forward by the Aaron Team representative for Abia and Imo states, Sen. A fatal accident occured few hours ago at Abia in Udi LGA. The accident occurred after the vehicle somersaulted severally killing all the passengers but then something remarkable happened.

A little baby (the one a woman is carrying in the attached photos) was in the car with the mum, (the woman lying lifeless (dead) there) but did not sustain even a single scratch of injury.

Twitter user Kayla Connors, from Massachusetts, uploaded a picture of her sister to the social network site after she had apparently confused Nair hair removal cream with shampoo.

The funny photograph shows her sister looking straight-faced with a shiny bald head.

Her only remaining hair now appears to be on the side of her head as seen in the first photo. Oh dear!

Multiple sources at the House of Representatives confirmed Friday, July 29, 2016 that the impeachment process of embattled Speaker Yakubu Dogara has commenced.

Police officers have been hailed as true heroes after they managed to rescue a robbery suspect from a burning car, despite the fact that the suspect might have been armed. The rescue was caught on one officer’s body camera.
The video was released by Fort Worth Police, Texas, on Thursday.

A trader at a market on 23 Road, FESTAC Town, Lagos, Ikechukwu Alu, has been arrested by the police for the alleged abduction and rape of a seven-year-old girl, Victoria.

It was learnt that the victim had been sent on an errand to buy a voucher (recharge card), but she misplaced it while returning home.

On getting home, she was reportedly chased out to look for the recharge card during which the 25-year-old suspect abducted her on Adeola Street in Amuwo Odofin, where she lives, and took her to a shop in a nearby market.

Alu reportedly made the girl to pass the night in the shop and allegedly raped her.

PUNCH Metro learnt that as he left the shop around 5am the following day, some residents around the area saw him, with Victoria strapped to his back.

The residents, who are aware Alu does not have a child, reportedly queried him on how he came about the girl.

When he could not give a genuine explanation, they were said to have poured ashes on him and alerted the police at the FESTAC division, who picked him up.

It was a day of sorrow and sadness on Tuesday, July 26th -as identical twin sisters were laid to rest beside each other. According to Adebayo Adetutu who lives in Akure, Ondo state, the sisters died the same minute. The cause of their tragic deaths was not revealed. May their souls rest in peace.
