Charity Aiyedogbon’s Daughters Launch Search For Their Missing Mom

With each passing day, the reality that Charity Aiyedogbon still remains missing leaves a very sour taste in the mouths of her loved ones, friends and well wishers.

The Abuja-based business woman was last seen on May 11th, 2016, after she posted on her Facebook page that she was going on a road trip.

Friends of this lady have opened a Facebook page in search of her as she was last seen on May 11th, 2016. Here’s what they wrote:

“The lady in the pictures is CHARITY AIYEDOGBON aka Deepdeal Chacha De Hammer on her Facebook page. She lives in Abuja and is separated from her husband David Aiyedogbon with 4 children who live with their father.

Alhaja Kudirat Abiola was assassinated whilst her husband, the late Moshood Abiola was being detained by the Nigerian Government, today marks the 20th anniversary of her death and her daughter has once again penned and emotional tribute to her.

A young woman, not quite 44 years old, Kudirat was different things to different people. She was a loving mother to her seven children, the youngest of whom was seven at the time of her death. She was also a dutiful wife and a principled Nigerian who believed that an electoral mandate given to her husband during the June 12, 1993, democratic election could not simply be set aside on the whims of a small band of men, whether they were armed or not.

I continue to draw strength and inspiration from her clear example in a country where, for most people, everything is negotiable. From her, I learned that it is better to stand with the truth even if it is to stand alone.

The boy was reported playing alone at home while his grandma stepped out. He was seen playing near the window and fell out of it, thankfully his head was stuck between the bars. The neighbors who spotted the situation immediately climbed on wall to hold the boy's body in case he suffocated or slipped from the bars and fell on ground. The boy's grandma was back home in some ten minutes and he was pulled up afterwards. The unidentified boy is reported in stable condition now.

Governor Ayodele Fayose has said that President Muhammadu Buhari aborted his trip to the oil-rich Ogoni land in Rivers state, as a result of the assassination threat from the Niger Delta Avengers.

It will be recalled that a militant had told one of the hosts of UK-based Radio Biafra that Buhari “should sign his death warrant” before his visit to Ogoni, and the president ended up delegating Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo to the landmark flag-off of the clean-up of Ogoni.

The increasing level of road traffic accident in Lagos State and the consequent injuries and death is quite alarming. Another six persons died in a fatal accident at Fadeyi bus stop, before Yaba in Lagos this morning. Body parts of some of the victims littered the road after a commercial bus and a trailer collided.

Eye witnesses disclosed that a trailer/truck collided with a commercial bus, leaving a few dead.

A young man was hospitalized after he decorated his penis with a metal ring and could not take it off.

The man whose identity was not disclosed was rushed to the Mutare Provincial Hospital i Zimbabwe according to reports.
