Fair-skinned Nollywood damsel, Uche Ogbodo, who has just returned from the United States after the delivery of her baby girl, is no stranger to controversies.

The current one rocking her boat is about her failed marriage to ex-Nigerian footballer, Ato Ubby.

While some say she dumped the man because he had a brain tumour, others accused the actress of marrying the hapless footballer only for money.

But Uche is back and ready to tell her own side of the story about her marriage and other issues:

The former chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ekiti state, Mr. Omolafe Aderiye has been shot dead.

Residents told SaharaReporters late evening that Aderiye was killed by unknown gunmen at Ijigbo area in Ado Ekiti.

Aderiye was on his way home when the gunmen numbering about four accosted and shot him at close range.

The Nigerian military on Wednesday issued an official confirmation to reports that Abubakar Shekau, the eccentric leader of Boko Haram, whose death the military has claimed repeatedly only to turn out untrue, has been killed by security forces.

Officially, the military insists the real Mr. Shekau was killed by soldiers more than a year ago, but that his character had been assumed by another leader of the deadly group.

The impersonator is the man who appeared in several Boko Haram propaganda videos, claiming he is Mr. Shekau, the military said.

It was that new face of Mr. Shekau that was killed in a fierce clash with the military last week in Konduga, near Maiduguri, Borno State, defence spokesperson, Chris Olukolade, said Wednesday.

India is famous for overcrowded trains with people hanging on and off the side, but it happens in other countries too. But don’t worry if you are traveling to one of these countries. Most of the trains are perfectly normal.

Nigeria's military has retracted its statement that some of the schoolgirls abducted from Chibok town in April by Islamist militants had been freed.

Army spokesman Major General Chris Olukolade told the BBC there were girls in military custody, but not those from Chibok as originally thought.

‘Drunk’ Student Killed By White Tiger At Zoo After ‘Falling Into Enclosure’

A white tiger has attacked and killed a student at a zoo after he climbed over the railings of the tiger enclosure and into the moat.

The man in his twenties, named only as Maqsood, was said to be under the influence of alcohol when he was mauled by the tiger at about 1.30 this afternoon .

Witnesses said visitors to New Delhi Zoo thew stones in a desperate attempt to deter the rare animal after Maqsood found himself in the tiger enclosure and while witnesses said the student fell into the enclosure, zoo manager Riaz Khan believed he ‘leapt over the railing’.

‘Around 1.30pm, we were in the reptiles area when we heard loud screams,’ an eyewitness told the CNN-IBN news channel.
