Police Uncover Human Parts Buried Inside Church, Arrest Pastor And 3 Others In Ogun State


Pastor Samuel Babatunde, 77, has been arrested by the Police in Ogun State, in connection with suspected human parts buried in his church. He was arrested alongside with one suspected serial kidnapper, Jeremiah Adeola (32) and a 43-year old herbalist, Haruna Afolabi.

.The cleric is said to be the founder of Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Itedo Isinmi, Ayo Parish, Egan Road, in Iyesi Area of Sango-Ota. The State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said that the discovery followed the arrest of Adeola, last Sunday.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, August 18, 2017, received Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide at Abuja House, London today 18th Aug 2017.

The president shared photos of him and the cleric on Twitter with the caption:

Following the devastations caused by flooding and mudslides on the outskirts of Freetown at the beginning of this week, President Ernest Bai Koroma continues to receive not only condolence messages but also high powered delegations from countries across the sub-region and beyond. 

   This morning, Friday 18 August, the president received at State House a high-level delegation led by Bishop David Oyedepo of World Mission Agency commonly called Winner’s Chapel. According to Bishop Oyedepo, the visit was to console and pray for Sierra Leone following Monday’s tragedy. He prayed that such predicament would not repeat itself in the nation and that there would be a turnaround.

The Lagos state police command has arrested 10 persons in connection with the murder of a four-year-old girl identified as Faridat Sulaimon, at the Iwaya area of the state on Tuesday August 15th.

According to New Telegraph, the mother of the victim, Bola Sulaimon, said she had instructed her children to stay at their neighbor, Mummy Hafsat's home until she returned from the market where she had gone to buy some items.

Fatmata Kamara had just stepped outside her house before dawn Monday when she saw the muddy hillside collapsing above her. The only thing she could do was run.

She was one of the survivors, those who managed to escape the surging mudslides and floodwaters in and around Sierra Leone's capital that killed more than 300 people, many of them trapped as they slept. Another 600 people are missing, the Red Cross said Tuesday, and the death toll is expected to rise.

Thousands lost their homes in the disaster, which was triggered by heavy rains.

The three, Princess Folashade, Princess Adesola and Princess Bimpe are sisters to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

Known to always appear with the monarch to most places he went especially when he was newly installed, there is obviously a supremacy battle among them and Olori Wuraola, who was the only wife and queen in the palace.

According to the story sent by a Trezzy Helm reader,Emenike,an entire family in Ndieke Umuatuegwu in Okija,Anambra state allegedly died after being poisoned.It is unclear who poisoned them.Below is what he wrote... 

'Information coming from the villages said that the incident started on Wednesday 9ht August as the woman finish cooking and then after her   husband came back from okada work and was served food so as he was eating wit his three children the man fail down and started vomiting blood some mins after one of his son started also not to long all of them started vomiting blood and was rushed to the hospital and have been dying one after the other since that day and on Friday the wife slumped as she can't face her self losing her family and also gave up this morning wish make the villages to  assembled they Corpse  so they can go for investigation'.

The Presidency also said the aides presented a get-well-soon card signed by 36 ministers to the President.
