A 43-year-old Islamic studies teacher Abdulsalam Salaudeen has been arrested by the police for defiling a five-year-old girl.

Mr Saraki, who also doubles as the director general of the Atiku/Obi campaign organisation, reached an agreement with KRL International LLC , Nevada, USA, through Retail Express Limited of Lagos, Nigeria.

Details of the agreement, which was obtained by PREMIUM TIMES, is contained in the documents filed by the firm with the Foreign Affairs Registration agency as required by the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938, as amended.
The fillings are mandatory for all firms providing lobbying and PR services for foreign institutions and governments.

93-Year-Old Woman Dies After Care Workers Failed To Show Up For 3 Days

A 93-year-old woman died after a blunder left her without any care for three days. Elsie Melling was found collapsed at home by her daughter and died just days later in hospital.

An inquest heard how she had a fall at home and a chiropodist treating her feet called an ambulance.

When her daily carers came they were told by the foot specialist she was going to the hospital and they did not need to come in.

But after paramedics arrived it was decided Mrs Melling would not be taken to hospital.

Two Boys Sell Siblings For N800,000 In Imo State, Says Its Money For WASSCE

Police have arrested a 15-year-old Senior Secondary School pupil, Precious Ehiedo, and two others, Juliet Ogben and Favour Okoh, for allegedly stealing and selling two siblings between the ages of two and seven for N800,000 in Imo State

Two-year-old Chiemerem and seven-year-old Mmesoma Nwoke were stolen on November 13, 2018, by Precious at Umuezeala Ama in the Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State on the instruction of her parents, this was disclosed by the state Commissioner of Police, Dasuki Galadanchi, who handed over one of the recovered children to their parents at the command’s headquarters in Owerri.

The CP said the teenager had requested money from her parents for the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination registration, but the parents allegedly told her to steal the children in order to raise the money.

Lagos Representative Member, Abayomi Ayeola Is Dead

Abayomi Ayeola died at the age of aged 59 on Sunday at St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos, after battling an undisclosed ailment. His remains have been scheduled for burial on Monday (today) according to Islamic rites. 

The two-term lawmaker had clinched the ticket of the All Progressives Congress to contest for a third term in the 2019 general elections.

The lawmaker was the leader of the Lagos State caucus in the House until his death.

A source in the Lagos caucus, in a chat with our correspondent on Sunday, said, “He died this afternoon at St. Nicholas Hospital. He (allegedly) died of diabetic complications.

A Washington-based group, International Strategic Studies Association, has stated that the death of a former Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, and that of a former Chief of Administration of the Nigerian Army, Maj.-Gen. Idris Alkali, was not a mere coincidence.

Alkali was allegedly killed by a gang of protesting youths along Jos-Bauchi Road on September 3, while Badeh was gunned down along the Abuja-Keffi Road by suspected assassins on December 18.

ISSA, a non-governmental organisation with a worldwide membership of professionals involved in national and international security and strategic policy, stated in a special report on Friday that the two men were killed to hide what it described as the pattern of corruption in the current military leadership in the country.
