Bovi Vows To Beat Up I Go Dye For Messing With Memories Of His Late Mother

Bovi vows to beat up I Go Dye for messing with memories of his late mother lailasnews

Few days after Nigerian comedian Bovi called out his colleague I Go Dye for slamming former Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan over some his ‘awkward projects’, the fight has gotten way much bigger with I Go Dye’s response.

I GAVE YOU AN OPEN CHALLENGE TO SPEAK FOR DELTAN’S BUT YOU MISQUOTED WINSTON CHURCHILL. BUT FAILED TO USE YOUR OWN QUOTES, AS YOU HAVE ASCRIBED INTELLIGENCE TO YOUR PERSONALITY. This is not an argument or fragmentation of your imagination that is contested, it is the truth against our people that they are using you to divert.I will not reply to you again.

How much have you been paid to sell your hard YOUR hard earned reputation, as a beautiful Nigeria youth, that grew to become AKPO’S, now Bovi, only to be commissioned as a Baby lawyer by your favourite Governor Uduaghan? Someone whose children are graduating today in London, while Delta State University is still in decay. what made you accept a baby lawyer’s appointment, just to support those that have caused pains to millions of Nigerians? who sleep everyday without a meal. It is not about me, but for the sake of our future.

An Egyptian court has sentenced 75 prominent members and affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood to death, as part of a mass trial that included 739 people charged after the violent dispersal of a protest camp in support of former Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi in 2013.

Most of the protesters who died in the dispersal at Rabaa al-Adawiya square in Cairo were pro-Morsi protesters and Brotherhood members and affiliates. They had staged a sit-in days before Morsi was ousted by Abdel Fatah al-Sisi in a military coup on 3 July 2013 and continued the protest until it was violently dispersed on 14 August 2013.

The 75 were given the death penalty for offences ranging from murder to incitement to break the law, membership of a banned group, or being part of an illegal gathering.

The verdict, by judge Hassan Farid el-Shami, was announced on Saturday in Cairo’s heavily fortified Tora prison courthouse after a trial Amnesty International has condemned as “a grotesque parody of justice”.

Revealed! Why Buhari Is Backing Oshiomhole On Direct Primaries

Fresh facts have emerged revealing that the adoption of direct primaries by the All Progressives Congress, APC, was an initiative President Muhammadu Buhari bought following the strong conviction that the exercise would not only check money politics but will also help the party choose popular candidates for elections.

Contrary to growing insinuations that the method was introduced to boost President Buhari’s inclination for populism, Saturday Vanguard learned that he opted for it as a direct response to the conduct of APC governorship primaries in Ekiti State, where the exercise was reportedly monetised.

The President was said to have been upset by complaints that the former leader of the party, allegedly allowed aspirants to be exploited, increasing the crisis in the party.

Hence, his decision to ensure that money no longer plays a key role in the processes leading to the emergence of candidates.

Direct Primaries: Triumph of the People Written by Kolawole Salami

Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, glasses and text
The initial clamour for direct primaries in APC was never in the interest of the people of Osun State. It appears to have been driven by the determination of a small section of the APC not to allow the choice of the people.

First attempt that 'they are from Lagos' failed woefully as it some became clear that no other in APC has more love for the people of Osun than he does.

Then, as if working cordially with the governor in the interest of the state is a bad thing; they said 'he is the anointed of Gov Rauf Aregbesola'; but this also failed as the man of honesty and integrity continued to project his vision across the nooks and crannies of the state; after all if it was the case of being anointed as speculated, why would he be obliged to endear himself to the people of Osun.

Then came the sentiment of 'West lokan' but this one too failed. People knew too well that "ajobi o kan taa nu..." they also knew too well that a person's ability to govern effectively has no link to the sentiment of geo-political zone. Osun people realised that it's a cheap attempt towards avoiding a competency-driven contest.

Since its ouster from power at the centre in 2015 after 16 years, the party has made deliberate efforts to rebrand and attract new members with the aim of taking power back from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 elections.

Then walked in a very important guest from the groom's family, a very close relation of the mother in law of the bride. He apparently showed up late and she needed to have them served. they were just too important not to be entertained

OBA ADEDAPO TEJUOSO – KINGSHIP DYNASTY WITH DOUBLE CROWNS

Related image

Oba (Dr.) Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso has the distinction of being the only traditional ruler in Yorubaland, and perhaps the entire country, of wearing two crowns. His secular crown is that of the Osile Oke-Ona of Egba, which is the one most people within and outside his kingdom know. What many do not know is that he also wears the religious crown of an anointed Man of God. Now, if you thought tradition and religion cannot mix harmoniously for the good of society, he has been able to prove you wrong. Ask his subjects and followers.
As a king, Tejuoso is well grounded in the tradition of his forefathers, as should be expected, though not warts and all. As a preacher, he is well versed in the word of God. His penchant to lace his discussions with Biblical references and the tendency to try to live according to injunctions by the Holy Book leave you in no doubt about the fact that he is a king with a difference. Which makes his dual identity quite an interesting one.

Ahead of its primaries scheduled to hold this month, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has conceded senatorial tickets in Ekiti State to its former National Deputy Chairman, Chief Segun Oni, ex-Commissioner for Information & Strategy in Lagos State, Hon. Opeyemi Bamidele and former National Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic (PDP), Prince Adedayo Adeyeye, THISDAY can report.

By implication, the concession has already cast a pall on the aspiration of Sen. Fatimat Raji-Rasaki to return to the Senate in 2019 despite her decision to defect to the APC at the height of internal rift that plagued the Ekiti PDP before the just concluded governorship election in the state.

Multiple sources at national and state level revealed this development to THISDAY at the weekend, which they justified on the need to pacify Oni, Bamidele and Adeyeye considering the role they played to ensure the APC and its candidate, Dr. Kayode Fayemi win the July 14 governorship election.

Party Control: One Month After Defection Senato Kwankwaso On Warpath With Shekarau, Wali, Others

One month after the defection of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), crisis over the control of Kano PDP has started brewing in the state chapter of the party, Daily Trust on Sunday can report.

The battle over the control of the soul of the party is raging between Senator Kwankwaso on one hand and some of the party’s bigwigs in the state, comprising of former Minister of Education, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, Ambassador Aminu Wali, Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, among other stakeholders, on the other hand.

When Kwankwaso rejoined the PDP recently, Shekarau expressed fears about the latter’s readiness to allow internal democracy and peace to reign in the party.

“I hope the PDP received reformed Kwankwaso. I hope it is not the old Kwankwaso I knew,” he cautioned at the time through his media aide, Sule Ya’u Sule.
