Operatives disclosed that Evans used three phones – two of which reportedly cost N2.4m and N2.6m respectively – with anti-tracking features to frustrate his arrest.
The police have said that useful statements made by a younger sister of the notorious kidnap kingpin, Chukwudi Onuamadike aka Evans, led to his arrest reports indicates.
The sister was said to have been arrested after her number was identified as one of the contacts in Evans’ special SIM card.
It was learnt that Evans’ childhood friend and four girlfriends were also picked up by the police and they all gave relevant information.

70 Ghanaian Deportees Receive Inhumane Treatment on Journey From USA for Overstaying Their Visa

Over 70 Ghanaian immigrants were deported from the United States on Wednesday for overstaying their permits.
The all-male deportees arrived a chartered Delta Airline Flight at Accra’s Kotoka International Airport in handcuffs before they were handed over to local authorities.

The actual number of immigrants was not clear, and most of them had no belongings with them.

Peaceful days are ahead in Oshodi as two dominant rival gang lords make their peace today after weeks of a back and firth battle.

Huge Fire Engulfs 24-Storey Tower Block In West London

Firefighters were battling to rescue people trapped inside a 24-storey tower block in west London on Wednesday morning hours after a huge fire broke out and swept through apartments.

At least 30 people were taken to five hospitals by 6am on Wednesday, according to the London Ambulance Service.

Comedian AY’s wife, Mabel has called out the pregnant CEO of Oasis Medspa, Freda Francis in an early morning Instagram rant.
In Mabel’s IG post, she shared a screenshot of the raunchy chat between her husband and Freda, as she warns her to stay off her family.
Before the calling out, Mabel took to the comment section of her husband’s IG page where she wrote, “This is outright wickedness and I won’t take it”.

The comment came after AY posted a photo of himself and the pregnant Francis.
In AY’s chat with TNS, the comedian said: “And so if I impregnated Freda, is it something new?”.

Notorious kidnap kingpin, Chukwudubem George Onwuamadike aka Evans was arrested shortly after his return home last Saturday, some guards in his neighbourhood said yesterday. Unknown to him, the neighbourhood had been surrounded by the police before his arrival.

But, before his arrest, he had started moving his personal effects from his 3, Fred Shogboyede Street, Magodo, mansion.

A guard, Ali, who said he saw how Evans was arrested, said he was initially surprised to see so many policemen in the estate.

According to the father of the victim, Mr Friday Egbineka,”Mr Sunday Nwokoro lives near my house at Umudein Street, Agbor. My children usually visit his house to watch film, unfortunately, i did not know he was sleeping with my third child, a primary four pupil at Agbor Model Primary School, Agbor.Before now my other children reported to me that their sister, keeps late nights.I did not know about this on time because i am a security man in one of the private secondary schools in Agbor.
