10-Year-Old Girl Gives Birth After Complaining Of A Stomach Ache

A 10-year-old girl in Belo Horizonte, Brazil complained of a stomach ache at school on Tuesday just hours before she gave birth to a child. When her teachers found her to be in the late stages of labor, she was rushed to the hospital.

The girl reportedly told her mother that her stepfather, 40, abused her. The mother reported the abuse to police. The stepfather has left the home and is now under investigation for rape.

According to Punch a six-year-old Promise Eboye, should not be alive, at least going by the four gory looking stab injuries on his back. The boy survived an attack that would have killed even an adult had the injuries been sustained in vital parts of the body.

Promise, a bright and sharp boy lives with his mother and step-father in Kollington area of Ijaiye, Lagos, while his biological father lives in Benin, Edo State.

At about 8am on Monday, Promise’s mother, Comfort, stabbed her son four times, inflicting life-threatening injuries on the boy’s body.

The former National Security Adviser, Mr. Sambo Dasuki, yesterday raised the alarm over what he saw as plot by the State Security Service (SSS) to implicate him in alleged security breaches.

17-year-old Ashik Gavai was the name of the boy who had his 232 teeth removed in a six-hour operation Monday. This might seem odd, but according to TIME, Gavai is still left with 28 teeth in his mouth - fewer than most adult mouths.

Dolphins Spotted Riding Whales Off The Coast Of Hawaii

It's long been understood that dolphins and whales are incredibly intelligent, playful creatures. They regularly interact playfully with humans, and they've been seen doing the same with other species too.

However it's become apparent that all along the coast of Hawaii, bottlenose dolphins and humpback whales have formed a special kind of bond.

The initial image that sparked interest in the friendship was captured by Lori Mazzuca in Hawaii and posted on the Facebook page The Whale and Dolphin People Project. Mazzuca explained that she observed the dolphin and whale, shown above, seemingly playing with each other – the dolphin testing how long it could stay balanced on the humpback whale'shead as it swam along. A powerful swimmer, the dolphin would eventually slide down the whale's back, tail-first before maneuvering its way back on top for another ride.

Tragedy was averted on Friday at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2) in Lagos following a ground collision of two aircraft belonging to FirstNation Airways.

A similar incident had occurred at the airport on July 6, following the collision of two aircraft belonging to Emirates and Hak Air.
It was gathered that Friday’s incident which happened at about mid-day involved two Airbus 330 conveying not fewer than 250 passengers.
The two aircraft had their bodies partially damaged as a result of the collision.

Sambo Dasuki, a retired colonel and former national security adviser (NSA), has refused to surrender to operatives of the State Security Service (SSS), also known as DSS, who are trying to “forcibly arrest” him, TheCable understands.

The operatives have been laying siege to his Asokoro residence in Abuja since 6pm on Thursday and are now inside his compound. Journalists are camped outside the gate as the stand-off continues. After forcibly gaining entrance into his compound, the operatives moved out all the vehicles and moved in with theirs in an operation led by an officer whose name was simply given as “Dodo” from Katsina, the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The immediate past National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd.), has been arrested and whisked to an unknown destination, a report from Abuja said.

What makes Dasuki’s arrest ironic is that on Sallah’s Eve in 1985 Dasuki was said to have arrested Buhari. And now, on the same day in 2015, Buhari allegedly orders his arrest.

In August 1985, the evening of the 26th to be specific, at a time when Nigerians were celebrating the Muslim festival and enjoying the public holiday, a soldier named Badamasi Babangida was executing his plans of overthrowing the Nigerian Head of State, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari. One of the soldiers who arrested Buhari at gunpoint was a soldier named SAMBO DASUKI. After Buhari was arrested and his government toppled, IBB threw him into prison and handsomely rewarded Dasuki by making him his ADC (aide-de-camp). Sambo Dasuki was one of the four four army majors that arrested Buhari at gunpoint that day. Others were Abubakar Dangiwa Umar, Lawan Gwadabe, Abdulmumuni Aminu .

Buhari was left to rot in jail for two years and this wrecked his family life so bad that it led to a divorce with Safinatu, his beloved wife upon his release. While Buhari was also in jail, Babangida sent soldiers to ransack and vandalize his residence, in the process destroying some of Buhari’s most valuable credentials and valuables.Let me skip what happened to

The Nation – Department of State Security (DSS) operatives yesterday invaded the Abuja home of the immediate past National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd), to arrest him.

There were speculations last night that Dasuki had been arrested, but The Nation could not confirm it.

Operatives of the Directorate of State Service (DSS) yesterday night arrested former national security adviser (NSA), Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd) in his private residence at Asokoro, Abuja.

LEADERSHIP Friday reports that the operatives in four Hilux vans, led by one Mohammed, stormed the Asokoro residence of the former NSA at about 6:40pm and laid siege on the residence, insisting on seeing Dasuki.

I am, always have been, and always will be proud of my Nigerian heritage. I understand the pain and anger caused by some of the comments I made in a recent interview, and I wanted to address you directly. Contrary to popular belief, this interview was not the first in which I mentioned Nigeria. But to not relay my own story, both the good times and the bad, would be a disservice.

The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has accused the former Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, of tampering with $1bn from the Federation Account, which he claimed was used “for election purposes.”

Oshiomhole, who disclosed this on Monday at a seminar organised by the state government for permanent secretaries, directors and deputy directors on enhancing internally generated revenue in the state, challenged the former minister to tell Nigerians how the Excess Crude Account was drawn down to $4.1bn from the peak of $10bn, when no approval was given by the National Economic Council for any withdrawals.

The naira hit another record low of 241 against the dollar at the parallel market on Monday as the Central Bank of Nigeria’s restrictions on foreign exchange sale fuelled unofficial trade in dollars, Reuters reported.
