Nollywood Actor, Moses Armstrong's Wife Dies In Car Accident (Photo)


Special Adviser to Akwa Ibom State governor on Agriculture, and actor, Moses Armstrong, has lost his wife, Rita, today in a fatal auto crash along the Benin-Ore road.

She was also a member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

Rita had escaped death in March 2012 after she was involved in a near-fatal accident in Lagos along Ikorodu road when the driver of the cab she was in lost control and rammed into a fence with her sustaining serious injuries on the face. 

She left two kids behind. May her soul RIP.

Nollywood actor Femi Ogedengbe, has for the first time, spoken about his relocation to the U.S, which he said was necessitated by poverty.

However, in a chat with Kemifilami, he revealed that he now works as a security guard in the U.S, and not a gardener, as being reported in some section of the media.

The son of late Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro, Fidel Castro Diaz-Balart, committed suicide on Thursday after being treated for months for depression, Cuban state-run media reported.
“Diaz-Balart, who had been attended by a group of doctors for several months due to a state of profound depression, committed suicide this morning,” Cubadebate website said.
Castro Junior, 68, also known as “Fidelito” because of how much he looked like his father, had initially been hospitalized for depression and then continued treatment outside of hospital.

The traditional ruler's summit which took place in Port-Harcourt last Tuesday was almost marred by an unpleasant confrontation between the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdurasheed Adewale Akanbi, and the Chief Security Officer (CSO) to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.

The tense situation could have snowballed into a bigger crisis but for reason that eventually prevailed. The incident occurred at the Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt.

It was gathered that the Ooni of Ife ,Oba Ogunwusi had just finished giving a vote of thanks, and was on his way back to his seat when  his CSO, Mr. Emmanuel Olawale Kolawole, who led other  security aides of the monarch  allegedly had a brush with the Oluwo, who  appeared to  be blocking the Ooni from accessing his seat.

The Oluwo, it was learnt, was by then discussing with the Minister of Interior, Lt Gen. Abdurahman Dambazzau, who shared the high table with the Ooni and the Rivers State gover, Nyesome Wike.

Soldiers Storm Gboko, Benue State After Killing Of Fulani Men. Photos


There is tension in Benue State Commissioner following the gruesome killing of seven Fulanis who were lynched and burnt by irate youths in Gboko area of Benue State on Wednesday (yesterday). Multiple reports have it that soldiers have been deployed today from Abuja to Gboko, Benue State after crisis.

The victims were said to be travelling either to Okene in Kogi State or Taraba State when criminals attacked, killed and burnt them to ashes.

EFCC arraigns five medical doctors for alleged  N13.6m Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 arraigned five former officials of the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, Edo State Branch, on a 21-count charge of fraud, stealing, conspiracy to commit felony and false accounting before Justice Efe Ikponwonba of the Edo State High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State. 
The defendants are Dr. Emmanuel Ighodaro, Dr. Anthony Owolabi, Dr. Quincy Atoghengbe, Dr. Raymond Ogieva and Dr. Oseremen Gabriel Ogbebor. 
They were alleged to have conspired to commit felony, punishable under Section 516 of the Criminal Code CAP 48 Laws of Bendel State of Nigeria as applicable to Edo State.

Former President Obasanjo To Unveil His ‘Coalition for Nigeria’ In Abeokuta on Thursday

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo will flag off the registration of the Coalition for Nigeria in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on Thursday.

Kehinde Akinyemi, spokesman of the ex-president, disclosed this to TheCable on Wednesday.

According to Akinyemi the registration would take place at the Ogun state secretariat of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Abeokuta.

Obasanjo did not attend the launch of the coalition at the Musa Yar’Adua centre in Abuja on Wednesday.

The political movement proposed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in his letter to President Buhari, was launched at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, today. 

Although Obasanjo was absent at the launch, former governors Donald Duke and Olagunsoye Oyinyola, were present at the launch. Duke has since indicated his interest to run for president.

Speaking to newsmen, Oyinlola, who is a former governor of Osun State, said the movement is not yet a political party.

''If and when we come to an agreement that we must metamorphose into a political party, then we will. We’re not a political party, at least, for now,” he said.

A Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja has been told how some telephone conversation recorded exposed the alleged lies told by the embattled Federal High Court judge, Rita Ofili-Ajumogibia to the investigating officers during investigation.
The Investigation officer was attached to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, the agency which is prosecuting her for alleged corrupt practices.

Justice Ajumogobia is standing trial along with a former EFCC prosecutor, Godwin Obla. When the investigation commenced and the investigators sought her attention to respond to some allegations, Justice Ajumogobia lied that she was on medical admission. But unknown to her, the investigation had checked her to confirm the veracity or otherwise of her claim.

Cybercriminals are hacking cash machines to force them to give out money in what is known as “jackpotting”, according to two of the world’s largest ATM makers and the US Secret Service.

Diebold Nixdorf and NCR sent out an alert to their customers over the weekend, but did not identify victims or specify how much money had been stolen. The US Secret Service started warning financial institutions that jackpotting was now a risk in the US last week, having started in Mexico last year, according to a confidental alert seen by Krebs on Security.

Diebold Nixdorf said that authorities had warned the company that hackers were targeting its Opteva ATM model , which went out of production several years ago.

They lured her to the hotel and thinking she was alone in the room with the man, the elderly woman removed her dress and was ready for action.

However, her friend came into the room and caught her red handed. The heartbroken friend says she has voice recordings of Chinasa aka Madam Kpom talking dirty with her husband.

A video is going viral of a man being caught cheating on his girlfriend, and the length he goes to to try get away with it is RIDICULOUS. 

According to the post on Facebook, he was busted by his girlfriend when about to do the dirty with another woman and decided to pretend that his 'mate' was a sex doll to get away with it.

The girlfriend is understandably angry, and starts shouting: "What the Bleep is going on here? Who the Bleep is this?"

The guy responds: "It's a bleeping sex doll" He goes the full way, too, even producing a receipt that he claims proves his purchase of the sex doll.

A young man identified as Ayodeji has taken to Twitter to express his grievances over what he believed was an unlawful arrest. Ayodeji, who works as a phone technician revealed how he was arrested over one of his recent jobs.


According to him, he had initially unlocked a phone for a customer without demanding for its receipt of purchase and that eventually led to his arrest.

The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the death of Don Wanny’s younger brother and a notorious member of his gang. Oluchi Igwedibia alias Obatosu, was gunned down by operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) on Saturday, at Sabo Iyakpe, Etsako West in Edo State.

A man was beaten mercilessly and left injured for allegedly sleeping with another man’s wife. Facebook user, Fortune Eshio Chaba, who lives in Lagos took the the platform to share pictures of the man and his swollen black eye after the beating.

Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested a security guard, who connived with his gand to murder his employer, Major Afisatu Ajuya.
It was gathered that the murderous gang numbering over nine broke into the apartment of the retired Army Officer in the early hours of Sunday, strangled the officer and set her ablaze before making away with her personal items.

A former police officer-turned armed robber, Collins Ezenwa alias Emoney and members of his gang were shot dead at the weekend.
The suspects were killed by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) during a robbery operation in Imo State on Saturday, January 27.
