16 children, one anonymous sperm donor: Half-siblings embark on a search for their biological father in new TV series

A new TV docuseries is giving new meaning to 'modern family' as it follows 16 half-siblings on a mission to find their anonymous sperm donor dad.

Generation Cryo, which premieres on MTV on November 25, stars 17-year-old Breeanna Speicher, from Reno, Nevada, who was brought up by two lesbian mothers and has always been curious to know who her father is.

With the help of an organization called the Donor Sibling Registry, Bree discovered that she has 15 half-siblings across the country, whom she enlists to help her find their donor father, known to them only as 'Donor number 1096'.

My sons’ arrest is politically motivated; Jonathan owns Pilot Newspapers – Lamido

Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido has alleged that the arrest of his two children by the EFCC was a political attack on his person.

According to Lamido, such vendetta does not scare him as he had faced tougher battles in his political life of over three decades.

The governor, who also said President Goodluck Jonathan owns Pilot Newspaper, accused him of using the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to witch-hunt opponents of the Federal Government.

Speaking when he received the Emir of Gumel, Alhaji Ahmed Muhammed in the Government House Friday, Lamido maintained that no threat can make him lose sleep.

His words: “Some politicians believe that they can use intimidation and threat to have their way. In the last 30 years, I have suffered all kinds of intimidation and harassment you can think of and so there is nothing new. All these harassments cannot break Sule Lamido.

A 'creepy' new website was condemned today after it secretly uploaded the Facebook profiles of 150,000 students for people to rate based on their looks.

Ratemash.com has been quietly uploading social network pictures without the owner's consent.

Site users are then encouraged to flick through the photos - which appear one after another in a huge gallery - branding each person either 'hot', or 'not'.

Osun Monarch Strangled Before Inferno - Residents

Some chiefs and residents of Ilashe Ijesa in Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State on Thursday narrated how the monach of the town, Oba Adesina Anibijuwon, was killed by suspected members of Odua People's Congress, who allegedly strangled him and left his corpse inside his residence which they set ablaze.

Those who recovered his corpse from the building said the charred remains of Anibijuwon were taken to the mortuary at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital in Osogbo by Osun Ambulance Service at around 10.30pm on Wednesday.

The ambulance that conveyed the remains of the monarch was said to have been escorted to the mortuary by armed policemen and some residents. The residents feared that those who killed him might want to seize his corpse.

Some residents who also spoke with our correspondent said the officials of the state fire service, who came to put out the inferno, ran out of water.

President Goodluck Jonathan Falls Seriously Sick; Checks Into London - Gov Amaechi Tweets Quick Recovery.

Credible sources in London have confirmed that President Goodluck Jonathan is seriously ill and has become indisposed, about 24-hours after he marked his birthday. The story of his emergency sickness is now a cause of serious concern at the Aso Rock presidential villa in Abuja.

Mr. Jonathan, who travelled to the United Kingdom for a meeting of Nigeria’s Honorary International Investors’ Council, “became indisposed,” spokesman Reuben Abati said in a statement, “and could not be present at the opening of the meeting today.”

The statement added that Mr. Jonathan was examined by competent medical practitioners who advised him to rest for a few days.

“The Presidency wishes to assure all Nigerians that President Jonathan’s condition is nothing serious and that the medical attention he has sought is only precautionary,” Mr. Abati said.

 Participants at the Investor's Council meeting at Hilton Hotel in London said they became worried when Mr. Jonathan failed to show up during a scheduled opening speech at the packed event paid for by the Nigerian government.  Lady Linda Chalker later anchored the event without Mr. Jonathan.

Young Nigerian Woman Killed In Columbus Indiana By Her Neighbour

The body of 26 year old Adaobi Michaella Obih (pictured above) was found on Tuesday Nov. 19th at Riverstone Apartments in Columbus, Indiana. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.

A spokesman for the Columbus Police Department said her neighbour, 36 year old Ryan Allen Klug, (pictured below) is a person of interest in the case. Ryan also lived in the apartment complex but has gone missing since Adaobi’s body was found.

The Columbus Police have not revealed how and why Adaobi was killed but they’re currently seeking the public’s help in locating Ryan Klug.


Adaobi was the first of two children and was already pursuing her PHD in Electrical Engineering at just 26 years old. So sad!

Sun Chuanjun cut his sister-in-law, Xu Xiaoli's throat with a kitchen knife after becoming involved in an argument about money at her home in Anmi in Lianing province, north east China. 

He then fled to the nearby house of his father where he threw the woman's three-month-old baby into a pot of boiling water before being seized by authorities.
