World’s Most Dangerous Bird : Cassowory

bird with an unusual combination of Turkey and Ostrich named Cassowary is the most dangerous bird in the world. Cassowary is found in the jungles of Australia and New Guinea.
On feeling danger, the bird kicks its victim so hard that it could greatly damage the victim’s bones.

Its very strong and average of 12 centimeters long jaws are so sharp that it can tear anything into pieces.

At the time of second world war, the soldiers of New Guinea were specially warned to steer clear of these birds but still many soldiers died because of the bird’s attack.

One documented human death named Philip McClean(16) was caused by a Cassowary on 6 April 1926.

Cassowary has been declared as the most dangerous bird by the Guinness  Book of World Records. The bird cannot fly but can run with a speed of 50 km per hour.

Cassowary birds have been declared as endangered species now because of loss in their habitats. There are only 20%-25% of Cassowary left in Southern Australia.
