We live now, the next moment we die! What then is the meaning of life? This is one of the statements coming out from the mouth of family and friends who were at the burial ceremony of a Fresh Radio OAP Oluwafemi Oluwajobi.
Fresh FM Ibadan OAP, Oluwafemi Oluwajobi, has been buried at the Sango Cemetery, Ibadan, Oyo state. The slain OAP was on his way home after doing his shift on December 31st when he was killed by a drunk driver. He is survived by a wife and son. Fresh FM is owned by gospel artiste, Yinka Ayefele.

It was learned that Oluwajobi, fondly known as Radio MD (Music Dynamite), was on his way to join some friends at Palms Mall, venue of Ibadan Countdown. Oluwajobi, who was until his death a newscaster with Ibadan based radio station, Fresh FM, was rushed to the University Teaching Hospital (UCH) where he later died.
Oluwajobi was said to have left his car at home because of traffic, and was hit while waiting to take a motorcycle also known as Okada to Ring road. Femi was said to be an open-hearted, humble and hardworking media practitioner during his lifetime. His remains have been buried today, Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Sango Cemetery in Ibadan. The deceased is survived by his wife and children.
The owner of the radio station Yinka Ayefele surrounded by people, especially staff of the radio station, almost betrayed emotion.
Source said: “The reckless driver was drunk and he was said to have killed another person at Orita before police from Felele Police Station eventually arrested him”.
Femi was said to be an open hearted, humble and hardworking media practitioner during his lifetime,
Some of Oluwajobi’s colleagues and friends described him as a core professional and responsible fellow whose life is worthy of emulation.
Many media practitioners and friends of the deceased were at the brief funeral ceremony with an uncontrollable cry.
Oluwafemi Oluwajobi was buried in a Bible-like casket.
