Adamu Mai-bisco killed them in cold blood at Batayya ward in Potiskum, last night around 11:35pm before a distress call to the police led to his arrest. The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Toyin Gbadegesin. confirmed that Adamu used a shovel to them and he was under investigation.

The motive behind the killing is yet unknown, though Adamu confessed to the police that he had taken ‘Tramadol and Indian hemp’ before carrying out the killings. A witness, Malam Ibrahim, said Adamu came out of the house with a shovel and jack knife and said he had wiped out his family.

A fatal road accident happened at Ijora Underbridge ,it was reported that an overspeeding truck claimed three innocent lives.

According to an eyewitness account, the driver out of fear of being lynched by angry residents absconded with the truck. Residents could be scene in the pictures wailing as they gathered around the ill-fated victims.

Drama As Rashidi Yekini’s Mother Threatens To Punch Lawyer For Cheating Her Out Her Son’s Inheritance

It is no news that Madam Sikirat Akanke Olobi is going through a rough time since the demise of her son, Rashidi Yekini.

In a recent chat with Saturday Telegraph, Madam Olobi blamed late Rashidi Yekini’s lawyer, Jibril Olanrewaju for her suffering.

The pain in the heart of this aged woman is that she has been forgotten by those who should have stood with her after her son’s death demonstrating the love and affection aged people so much crave as they descend the last few steps on the ladder of their sojourn on earth. One of such people is the man she described as ‘the second lawyer’ who came on the scene after Yekini died.

According to an eyewitness, after 5 children had been reported to be missing in the area over the past few months, this woman was caught yesterday at Owode, Ajegunle Ikorodu road area, while trying to escape with two children she had abducted in front of a primary school.

A woman who saw her, identified one of the children and suspected a foul play. She immediately called the child’s mother, who replied that she had been searching for the child. The suspect, who reportedly said she sells each child at the rate of N50,000, was arrested and handed over to the police.

Frontline Niger Delta activist, Chief Ayiri Emami has replied his kinsman and former militant leader, Government Ekpeumupolo, otherwise known as Tompolo over his recent accusations against him.

Emami was responding to the tirade against him by Tompolo, who accused him of fabricating lies.

A 70-year-old New Jersey woman will split her $429.6 million Powerball jackpot with her seven children.

“I’m still trying to figure out what it’s like [to be a millionaire],” said Pearlie Smith, who purchased the winning ticket at a 7-Eleven in Trenton.

Smith purchased 2 tickets for $6 for the drawings held May 7 and Wednesday.

Chinedu, a barber, has accidentally killed his baby during a fight with his wife on Thursday morning, at Umuchima, Owerri, Imo State, starttells reports. The wife allegedly picked up their 3-month-old baby, thinking that it’d subside Chinedu’s anger.

SAD STORY: Two BEAUTIFUL High School Girls Lost Their Lives Last Night - Few Hours After Taking This Photo At Their Prom

Two New Jersey teens were killed yesterday on their way home from prom. Police are still investigating the nature of the two girls deaths, but right now it appears that they died in a car crash - where NO ONE WAS under the influence.

Police say that 17-year-old Daisa Sulton (on the left) and 15-year-old Mikayla Mosley (right), died when their car struck a tree hours after celebrating at a high school prom in New Jersey.

The Managing Director of Remdel Optimum Communications and Director of Remdel TV, Mrs. Abiodun Ibitola, has passed on.

She was said to have died while receiving treatment for an illness at a hospital in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Her husband and Remdel Chairman, Mr. Remi Ibitola, confirmed the death in a telephone interview with our correspondent on Sunday.

Together with the husband, the deceased was the producer of several Yoruba movies that include Afonja, Owo Eje, Ofin Ga and Ojo Ola.

Ibitola was a graduate of Theatre Arts from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where she majored in directing.

She worked at various radio and television houses, including the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria.

She was a winner of Best Indigenous Film Producer of the ZAFA Award, London, 2009; Nollywood Outstanding Personality Award, 2007; and Award of Excellence in Creativity by Yoruba Studies Association

Pastor Isaiah Ojo of the Dayspring Family Chapel, Egbeda, Ibadan, Oyo State, has been arrest by the Egbeda Division of the Oyo State Police Command, after allegedly having carnal knowledge of the 7-year-old daughter of his friend and fellow pastor, on his church’s altar.

Though the incident occurred on Monday, May 9, 2016, the little girl had yet to stop bleeding as at Friday, May 13. The girl’s vagina was reportedly badly torn by the forced penetration. Narrating her experience, the girl said: Daddy Dayspring is my father’s friend.

Ekemini, the 13-year-old girl pregnant girl (pictured with Hope) who was rescued by Danish aid worker, Anja Ringgren Loven and her husband David Emmannuel Umem, will be undergoing a caesarean section operation because doctors discovered that the position of her baby in the uterus is not normal. Moreover, her pelvis is not completely developed due to her young age. Anja's post below:

"Last week I told you about Ekemini, a 13 year old pregnant girl whoDavid Emmanuel Umem and our team rescued and brought to DINNødhjælp/ACAEDF Childrens Home in Nigeria.

Since we rescue this beautiful young girl we took her to the hospital for examination.

The doctors discovered that the position of her baby in the uterus is not normal, so she will not be able to deliver her baby vaginally. So next week Thursday Ekemini will have a caesarean section operation. Besides that, because of Ekemini´s very young age her pelvis is not completely developed so if she deliver her baby vaginally the labour might be prolong, and where there is prolong labour complications might set in.

As you also know Hope is also having an operation. Hypospadias is an inborn condition in which one has an incomplete developed urethra. Urethral meatus opens incorrectly at various locations along the underside of the penis, scrotum or in the perineum. The doctors found this inborn condition on Hope.

We have been waiting a very long time for Hope to be operated, but always remember that we are living in an area where the health system is not working as you know it to do in the western world countries.

Chicago-Based Nigerian Charged With $600,000 Wire Fraud - Found With 29 Fake Driver’s Licenses With His Picture on Them

Samson Alimi, 29, who had been under investigation by the Mount Prospect police since April 2015, has now been charged with scamming people out of over $600,000 via wire transfers. He was charged with one felony count each of wire fraud, money laundering and continuing a criminal enterprise.

In April 2015, investigators identified Alimi as a suspect in a criminal organization that was running internet scams. Further investigation showed that he had received more than $600,000 in more than 500 MoneyGram money wire transfers over the course of a year from people who were sending money under false pretenses.
