A marriage is just about to hit the rocks as a man identified as, Mike Gavi caught his wife Stella Zondo popularly known as Mai Tino, having an illicit affair with his best friend Simbarashe Reketi.

B-Metro reports that, the woman who couldn’t control her sexual appetite was having an illicit affair with the husband’s best friend barely two months after her hubby, Gavi had relocated to neighboring South Africa to look for greener pastures. A source close to the couple said the illicit relationship might have started before he left for South Africa.

Police in Ingobor Village, Nakuru County in Kenya have arrested a man who beheaded a 22-year-old mother of two after a fight between them on Tuesday, December 6.

According to Mogoon Sub-Location Assistant Chief Josiah Rono,(pictured in the video) the woman and the suspect – who was working as the deceased’s houseboy, were involved in an illicit affair and had fallen out on the fateful day before the 23-year-old man brandished a panga (machete) and chopped off her head.

12 Children Rescued From Pastor’s Illegal Orphanage Home In Lagos (Photo)

Twelve children were rescued by the Lagos State Government from the custody of a Pastor, Onoyngu Chibuike, the founder of Voice of Salvation Charitable Organisation, who had been operating an illegal orphanage in Ojo since 2010.

The hands of the law caught up with Chibuike last week when one of the children took ill and was taken to hospital for medical attention.

Enquirers from the hospital about the medical history of the indisposed child revealed that Chibuike’s orphanage is not registered under the Lagos State Government.

The Chairman of Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), Justice Ayotunde Philips (retd), has disclosed that date for local government election in the state would be announced soon to allow residents elect representatives that would fill the available offices.

Meanwhile, the Lagos state governor’s wife, Bolanle Ambode, Iyalode of Lagos, Bintu-Fatimah Tinubu and All Progressives Congress (APC) South-west women leader, Kemi Nelson, have urged women to rise up and participate in politics beginning from the council poll.

Fraudsters Steal Millions through First Bank Lagos Police Smash Anambra Syndicate

The Police in Lagos have smashed a fraud syndicate, in Anambra, which cleared money from bank accounts by hacking into customers’ e-mails.
Four suspected members of the syndicate were arrested in Onitsha, and three in Awka for separate offences in an operation led by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS).
According to the police, the suspects are part of internet fraudsters that specialise in hacking into e-mail addresses and using them to send messages seeking transfer of funds in tranches to different accounts.

The Lagos State Command have arrested one Haruna Abubakar who murdered his friend and co-worker, shredded him to pieces and dumped him in the bush. The suspect and victim are co-workers in a farm in ibeju lekki, where the suspect is a guard and the victim a herdman.

On Saturday December 3rd, the suspect aged 28 years had an altercation with the victim aged 27 years. The altercation resulted to a physical fight and in the process, the suspect hauled down the deceased with a dagger, cut him into pieces, packed him in a sack and dumped him in the bush.

According to Oyeyemi, the need for the officers to bear arms arose from the increased number of violent attacks and killing of some of its operatives while on duty. According to Oyeyemi, over 70 of its personnel have been killed in 2016 alone as a result of violent attacks by angry motorists. Oyeyemi said the FRSC Establishment Act gives power to the corps to bear arms and that the Federal Government had earlier approved that, with about 5,000 personnel already undergoing training on firearms.

At a policy dialogue forum organised by Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Development in Abuja, the Emir stated that nobody in the International community will borrow Nigeria such an amount of money.

According to him, the poor state of our economy will not make any lender take Nigeria serious, adding that even if the National Assembly eventually grants the request for Nigeria to borrow such a loan, no global financial institution will offer such a loan to Nigeria.
