Nigerian Airforce Set To Destroy Ikorodu Creeks With Newly Acquired Russian Mi-35M Fighter Jets

The Nigerian Air Force has acquired two new Russian Mi-35M fighter jets, which will, among others, combat militant activities in Ikorodu, Lagos State, sources 

It was also gathered that the military, through Operation Awatse, was putting finishing touches to its plans to launch an aerial offensive on Isawo in the Ikorodu area, believed to be the militants’ stronghold.

The Defence Headquarters, Abuja, however, told one of our correspondents that it would not release details of any operation as a formal briefing on Operation Awatse would be held later.

The police who arrested the suspect, said Eromosele had earlier been arrested in 2016 for stealing money from church offering box at a church in Victoria Island and charged to court. He was, then, jailed for six months.  Police alleged that the suspect committed the latest crime on 11 December, 2016 when he went to The Church of Resurrection Anglican at 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos, to attend their service.

Lagos Today! House Maid Steals Bosses' $10,000, Converts To Naira At N86 Per Dollar

The police in Lagos have arrested a maid, Blessing Paul for allegedly stealing her boss’ $10,000 in Gbagada.

Paul was alleged to have forcibly opened the boss’ room with a knife and collected the money while the woman was at work.

It was gathered that the maid, who had been stealing money and other valuables from her victim’s home, handed over the foreign currencies to the house guard identified as Daniel.

The guard, it was gathered, handed the money to a security man at another residence in Gbagada, who in turn took it to a Bureau De Change (BDC) operator for the Naira equivalent.

Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) officers who are holders of Higher National Diploma (HND), on Monday received good news from the Comptroller General, Col. Hameed Ali, who raised their salary grade from 07 to level 08.
