Gucci Sisters Selling Their Dad's Spectacular £29m Fifth Avenue Apartment, 20 Years After He Was Killed In Hit Ordered By His Wife
Alessandra and Allegra Gucci (centre) have listed their 9,500-square-foot duplex at the Olympic Tower for $45million with listing agent Daniela Rivoir of Brown Harris Stevens. Their late father Maurizio Gucci bought the apartment, which is on the 50th and 51st floors of the tower, in the 1970s and his daughters have decided to sell it after first renting the unit in 2010.
Two sisters who are known for high fashion are charging a high price for their eight-bedroom, nine-and-a-half-bathroom penthouse on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

This horrific and unfortunate accident happened on August 6th around 6:pm at Ubulu Okiti Junction in Aniocha South LGA of Delta state. A driver of a commercial bus carrying 14 passengers lost control on the highway as he was trying to avoid a towing van which entered the highway without caution.
The bus, carrying mostly students, and traveling from Asaba to Agbor, unfortunately ran into a stationed trailer parked beside the Express- way as he made to avoid the towing van. Of all 15 people in the bus, only 2 survived and are in critical condition at the hospital.

A Nigerian man identified as Emeka Ugwuonye, has exposed the various filthy activities of a woman he referred to as the brain behind most of the prostitute trafficking consortium where desperate girls are lured into cities like Malaysia, Russia, Dubai and China for the purpose of selling their body.
The peeved man has today used his Facebook account to reveal this.
He said the lady goes by the name, Madam Esther Otubo Nicole. He simply described her as a human trafficker who sends Nigerian girls into prostitution in Dubai.

One Mr. Ibiteye Bamidele, a bureau de change operator who was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for being in possession of the $2.1m cash suspected to be laundered, had implicated the ex-NHIS boss.

The infant lions have been adopted by their new pride leader, under the watchful eye of their uncle Jericho, in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.
Cecil’s young have been seen regularly according to conservationists in the area - and have been taken under the wing of three lionesses in the pride.
NAFDAC Uncovers Factory With Expired Condiments
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has uncovered an illegal factory within the Trade Fair Complex in Lagos, loaded with various expired food condiments worth millions of naira.
It arrested a 24–year-old, Mr. Victor Ebuka Okeke, in connection with the expired products.
The factory, which was originally a one- shop, was said to have been used to stock, re-validate and distribute expired products. Some of the expired products discovered in the factory include expired Maggi Sauce with manufacturing dates: 15/08/2011 and expiry dates: 15/08/2014, Amoy Dark Soy Sauce, Costa Corned Beef and Exeter Corned beef, among others.
Child Trafficking: Woman Arrested While Trying To Sell 19 Children (PHOTOS)

Operatives of the Owerri state police department have arrested a woman, Chioma Anoruo, for allegedly selling more than 19 children to clients.
Chioma, who lived at Okporo in Orlu town was said to have been in the business of child trafficking with her husband before she was apprehended by the community’s local vigilante group.
PM News reports that the vigilante group arrested Chioma and handed her over to the police but her husband escaped. Five children were rescued while a large amount of money was recovered from Chioma.

Fueled by population growth in some of the poorest African countries, the number of people on earth is expected to grow faster than previously expected, reaching 8.5 billion in 15 years and 11.2 billion by the end of this century, according to United Nations projections released Wednesday.
Africa is expected to account for more than half the world’s population growth through 2050, to 9.7 billion from 7.3 billion today. India will likely surpass China and become the most populous country by 2022.

Welder Beats Wife To Death For Alleged Adultery (Photo)

It was learnt that the 35-year-old welder repeatedly hit the wife’s head with an iron until she gave up the ghost.
He was said to have sprayed cement on her face and fled the neighbourhood, leaving her in a pool of blood.
The incident happened around 8pm on Monday at the Chelsea neighbourhood of the Sango-Ota area.
