PDP Blasted By Enraged Nigerians After Posting This Photo Online Trying To Misrepresent The Event

Yesterday, photos of a fake female soldier who was nabbed a checkpoint at Nyanya-Mararraba in Abuja -went viral after she was caught. The official twitter handle of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP -posted the photo today through their account, claiming it happened today in Ondo state when unidentified youths tried to snatch  ballot boxes during the governorship elections....

INEC Has Merged With APC In Ondo State - Ayo Fayose

At the early hours of Friday, information came in that the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), Prof Kayode Soremekun, who was the INEC Returning Officer in the recently concluded Edo State governorship election that is still a subject of litigation, will also serve as the Returning Officer for the Ondo State election.

The questions that came to my mind were; is Prof Kayode Soremekun the only Vice Chancellor in Nigeria? Is FUOYE the only federal university in Nigeria? Is Ekiti the only State where INEC can find Returning Officers?

Would you say it has been easy being the Oba of a cosmopolitan city like Lagos?

Any right thinking and God-fearing monarch ought to have the feeling of his people in mind and I try within my knowledge and wisdom from God to be frank to a fault in my dealings with people. Nothing is permanent in this world and I have made it abundantly clear to my friends, family and children that whether I like it or not, no matter the number of years I spend on this throne, I would have to leave this place one day. May God spare my life. I succeeded somebody, and it is an axiom that I would be succeeded by somebody, so I don’t deceive myself at all. The day I attained 60, October 29, 2003, was the same day Island Club clocked 60 years, and openly, at the Premier Island Club, former President Olusegun Obasanjo said you either like Lagos or you leave Lagos.
