Doris and Daniel, who met on set of the Daniel-directed Omo Jaiye Jaiye in 2006, welcomed a baby boy together in April 2008 before having a bitter split in 2010.

They had a rocky relationship after Daniel moved on to fellow actress, Stella Damasus. It was alleged at the time that Daniel had seized their son and stopped Doris from seeing the boy.

Construction of a new airport terminal  in Nigeria is nearing completion. The Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) is located at Ikeja in Lagos, the new terminal is expected to begin operation soon.

Passengers and stakeholders at the airport will soon experience the improved services at the airport when the terminal is completed. Yakubu Dati, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) spokesman, confirmed that the airport is really at the completion stage.

IGP Idris Gets Buhari’s Nod To Arrest Saraki Over Murders In Kwara

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said he had no objections to any plan by the police to arrest Senate President Bukola Saraki over a string of murder cases in Kwara State, PREMIUM TIMES has learnt.

The president received Inspector-General Ibrahim Idris at the State House on Friday afternoon, during which he was told of at least 20 murders allegedly linked to Mr Saraki in his home state, according to multiple sources briefed of the meeting.

Sources said the police chief arrived at the State House with a cornucopia of homicide investigation documents relating to Mr Saraki. The top lawmaker could be arrested any day from now following the president’s position that the law should run its course insofar as detectives have sufficient facts to file charges.

Offa Robbery: Police Explains Why Senate President, Saraki Was Summoned

The Nigerian Police Force has issued a statement explaining why the Senate President, Bukola Saraki was invited for questioning in connection with the Offa robbery.

Over 30 people were killed in a deadly armed robbery attack that took place on April 5, 2018.

According to Punch, the police spokesman, ACP Jimoh Moshood in a statement issued on Facebook, said that Saraki “is being invited to report to the Police to answer allegations indicting him from confessions of five gang leaders arrested for active participation in Offa bank robberies and killings of 33 innocent persons.”

Senate President, Bukola Saraki Finally Talk on Allegations That He Sponsored Offa Robbery Suspects

The Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has said that the Nigeria Police Force’s claim that he sponsored the buying of weapon for the Offa robbery gang is baseless allegation and that this is another ploy by the Police to implicate him by all means.

Saraki said that there is no way he could have been associated with armed robbery against his people.

He said that ‘when the Offa robbery incident happened, he was the first top public official to visit the place and right there in the palace of the traditional ruler, he call Mr. Ibrahim Idris, the IGP, requesting him to make certain specific security arrangements as demanded by the people.

DSS Withdraws Security Details From Saraki, Dogara

The Department of State Services (DSS) on Sunday recalled half of its operatives officially allocated to Senate President Bukola Saraki and the speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.

This is coming ahead of Monday’s talks between Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and the nPDP team to be led by Dogara.

Saraki is also a member of nPDP, the faction that broke away from the PDP in 2013 to team up with APC for the 2015 elections.
