Police Killed Four Armed Robbers Along Benin Bypass In Edo State . (Graphic images)

Barely twenty-four hours after the Police in Benin killed two armed robbers, another four armed robbery suspects were this morning killed at the Benin Bypass. The alleged armed robbers numbering about ten, attempted to rob a vehicle on the Benin Bypass, unknown to them that the occupants of the vehicle were policemen on routine patrol.
The Edo State police commissioner, Foluso Adebanjo, said as soon as the robbers jumped out of the bush to attack the police vehicle, the police opened fire on them, killing four and arresting one, while others fled into the bush with gun shot injuries. Mr Foluso Adebanjo assured residents in the state that they are working to make the state uncomfortable for criminals.
