The secrets of Chicken McNuggets, one of the world's most popular fast food snacks, have been revealed by McDonald's.
The fast food giant has produced a video tour of a factory which produces McNuggets to dispel claims that they are made of 'pink slime', which is made up of fat and tissue mechanically recovered from chicken carcasses which have already been stripped of their meat.
It shows how slaughtered chickens are butchered, their breast meat removed and then ground - or minced - before being mixed with chicken skin, seasoned and shaped into nuggets.
