At last, a conspiracy theory proven correct - ‘Gollum’ monster spotted in Chinese hills was, er, just me having a pee, says sci-fi actor

Mysterious 'Gollum' monster turns out to be the REAL thing
A ‘fake’ photograph of a bizarre human-like ‘monster’ has been revealed as a real-life sci fi actor taking a toilet break.
An unnamed Chinese tourist was camping with friends in the hilly region of Huariou, north of Beijing when he spotted a hairless flesh-coloured creature with large drooping ears, squatting on a rock.
The beast, which bears a striking resemblance to the character Gollum from the Lord of the Rings series, also appeared to have a loin cloth made of leaves entwined around his waist.

The man said he and his friends were camping out when he spotted the 'creature'. "I walked far away to have a pee, and suddenly saw a monster. I took a few pictures of it, but I am now terrified by my courage then." It's still not clear whether the pictures are authentic, but one online commenter wrote: "over the weekend I and my friends went to the mountains to take a mini sci-fi film. And when I was having a pee a person popped up and took pictures of me and shot away."

The tourist swiftly snapped a few pictures and posted them to social media – but most dismissed the pictured as an elaborate hoax.
‘I walked far away to have a pee, and suddenly saw a monster,’ said the tourist. ‘I took a few pictures of it, but I am now terrified.’
However, rather than being fake, a sci fi actor has since come forward to admit it was actually him taking a break from filming.
The actor was also rather embarrassed to reveal that his ‘monster-like stance’ was due to him squatting down on the floor to urinate.

For now at least it appears the matter is settled, but there is no doubt conspiracy theorists will call the revelation a convenient cover-up.
