KAI OFFICIALS ARE NOW CIVIL SERVANTS

Lagos state government has absorbed eight hundred and eighty (880) KAI officials into the State Civil Service as part of ongoing restructuring in the organization in order to reposition the brigade for better service delivery to the public.
Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN while addressing the KAI Officials during a meeting with the agency and LASTMA Officials recently at the State Auditorium expressed joy that the KAI officials have been made permanent staff in the state civil service, pointing out that the process of getting them into the service was tough as Government had to lobby to get a special Cadre for them Titled “ Law Enforcement Cadre” which according to him was hither to non- existent.

The Governor congratulated them and urged them to always perform their duties diligently with compassion and confine themselves to their primary responsibilities without digression to let the state win the war against any form of indiscipline and disobedience.
He further stated that the officials should always discharge their responsibilities in a manner that the state would not be portrayed in a bad light before the public.
The officials who have started their personal data and credentials documentation at the Lagos State Civil Service Commission and Public Service Office (PSO) thanked the State Government for making their dream become a reality and promised to serve the state with all their hearts and to discharge their duties diligently.
