How Tinubu forced A’Court to adjourn Saraki Case Barely 30 Minutes Before The Time Fixed For Giving Judgment.

The decision by the Appeal Court to abruptly adjourn ruling on the case filed by the Senate President Bukola Saraki, seeking to stop his trial at the Code of conduct Tribunal, CCT, has been traced back to influential forces from Bourdillon compelling the President of the Appeal Court, to stay mute pending when the CCT concludes its hatched plan against Saraki.

Sources confirmed that the President of the appellate court Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa had pressured Justices M.A.A. Adumien, J.E. Ekanem and M. Mustapha to immediately suspend Saraki’s case indefinitely barely 30 minutes before the time fixed for giving judgment.

The Judges did not even show up to brief either the counsel in chamber or the court, only a court clerk was appointed to announce the postponement without giving any new date for the judgment, or explaining the reason for the ruling.

It is curious and unusual that a panel of Judges of the Court of Appeal will fix a date for giving judgment and less than 30 minutes to the period, the Judges did not even show up to brief either the counsel in chamber or the court.

The Court Clerk then hurriedly forced Saraki’s lawyer and other people out of the court room and locked the doors and windows.

Even more curiously, the Federal Government lawyers led by Rotimi Jacob did not show up, leaving many to believe that they had foreknowledge of the Court’s decision.

Highly placed sources in the judiciary confirmed that Bulkachuwa is currently under extreme pressure not to allow any development that will jeopardize the plan by the Danladi Umar-led CCT to convict Saraki by all means.

The source added that the President of the Court of Appeal may attempt to reassign the case to a more malleable panel of judges.

Many senior members of the bench described what happened in the Court of Appeal today as an aberration and a flagrant attempt to ridicule the judiciary.

Some of them are of the opinion that Bulkachuwa herself is under pressure from external forces whose bidding she would be inclined to do because of her on-going investigations for some past misdeeds.

“With what happened today, The President of the court of appeal may make desperate moves that we cannot immediately contemplate.
“Only God knows where this will end”, a top retired judge said.
