National Assembly Staff Seal Abdulmumin Jibrin's Office As He Threatens Legal Action (Photos)

The Federal House of Representatives on Wednesday, September 28th, suspended former Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin, for 180 sitting days (60 weeks) for allegedly breaching the practices and precedents of the House of Representatives.

According to the House presided over by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Yusuf Lasun, Honourable Jibrin is also required to tender a formal written apology to the House, before
his future resumption of duties.


The staff f the National Assembly were today, pictured sealing off the office of the senator who has also been barred from positions of authority in the House till the end of the 8th Assembly.

Meanwhile the embattled lawmaker took to his Twitter page and fired back at the decision of the National Assembly saying that he never apologize, adding that he will file legal charges of contempt against Speaker Dogara.
