Donald Trump was told of claims of an extensive dossier of allegations against him supposedly gathered by Moscow when he met intelligence chiefs including James Clapper, Director of National Security, for a briefing on hacking claims last week. Now details of classified documents presented to the president-elect have emerged - including memos given to the FBI by what they say is a trusted source with Kremlin insight.
The documents claim Vladimir Putin's secret services had a file on Trump of 'kompromat' - damaging material Kremlin could use to blackmail him. It includes claims he ordered prostitutes to commit degrading sex acts in the presidential suite of the Moscow Ritz Carlton - simply because the Obamas stayed there (a hotel suite is pictured center and the Obamas when staying in the hotel inset). None of the allegations can be independently verified. The dossier was handed to John McCain in the summer, and to James Comey, the FBI Director. The claim the secret footage was obtained when Trump was in the Russian capital for the Miss Universe
Trump's counselor Kellyanne Conway also hit back against the allegations, and attempted to cast doubt on them by saying they came from 'unnamed sources', during an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
She then said: 'I have to say as an American citizen… we should be concerned that intelligence officials leaked to the press but won’t go and tell the president-elect or the President of the United States himself, Mr Obama, what the information is. They would rather go tell the press.'
When Meyers corrected her by pointing out the reports came from briefings last week, Conway said Trump 'was not aware of it'.
The document claims Russian sources told the operative that they had extensive material on the now president-elect - including a secret film of him in the suite where President Obama stayed in Moscow, watching prostitutes committing degrading sex acts on the bed where the president slept.

Donald Trump denied the allegations shortly after they were published on Tuesday night
The secret briefing, which included the documents of incendiary material, was provided by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.
The meeting last week was at a time when Trump has been feuding with the intelligence community.
The intel chiefs included the information in order to make Trump aware that the information was circulating within the U.S. intelligence community, lawmakers and senior intelligence officials told the network.
It was included to bolster the agencies' conclusion, also made publicly, that Russia had dirt on both Republicans and Democrats, but released only the bad info on Democrats, via leaks to the WikiLeaks site, as part of the narrative of election interference to bolster Trump.
The document also charged there was an information exchange between Trump surrogates and representatives of the Russian government.
The charge has echoes of what then-Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, who got top-level security briefings, charged this fall.
Reid wrote FBI director James Comey in October: 'It has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government - a foreign interest openly hostile to the United States.'
