Awujale and paramount ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, on Thursday, threatened to rain curses on politicians and their supporters who play politics at the venue of the Ojude-Oba festival.
Awujale who swiftly reacted to the action of a small group of people among the massive crowd, who were chanting the slogan of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the venue of the event, located directly opposite the monarch’s seat.
The minute group of people wielded brooms, which symbolises the presence of the APC at the venue and were also chanting the APC slogan.
The Awujale later softly vowed to change his annual royal blessings to curses if such action was repeated.
