German Designer Creates Controversial Anti-Sexual Assault Underwear

A German company recently sparked controversy after launching a line of women’s underwear that it claims can protect the wearer against sexual assault. Called ‘Safe Shorts’ the underpants are made of a slash and tearing-resistant fabric and feature a combination lock and a loud alarm system that goes off when the pants are tampered with.

“We have built many, many secret doors that access home theater rooms and I have built secret doors for many famous people and for elite homes all over the world,” Steve told CE Pro Europe. “Although I am not at liberty to mention names, I can tell you that our secret doors can be found in at least one Middle Eastern royal palace, as well as many of the homes of many of the people on the list of the world’s wealthiest people. Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has approved a N10m revolving loan to Ekiti State Chapter of National Association of Beer, Food and Drinks Sellers.

Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has condemned the recent impeachment of the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Ms. Jumoke Akindele and other principal officers.

A statement by the Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Ayo Fadaka, said the party would continue to recognise them as the legitimate leaders of the House.

He urged the PDP lawmakers who participated in the purported impeachment to apologise to the party or face its wrath.

Priscilla, pictured, said she 'would never earn' enough to pay the bill for her treatment 'if she worked every day in her life'

One of the largest hospitals in the country is chasing a bill of more than £500,000 from a Nigerian woman who gave birth to quadruplets.

The 43-year-old, named only as Priscilla, went into labour three months early shortly after landing at Heathrow airport in November.

She had intended to give birth to the babies in Chicago, in the US, where she has family – but was turned away by border officials upon arrival.

They claimed that although she had a visa, she did not have required documents from a hospital stating that she had the money to pay for the birth.

The Nigerian customs has declared two of its officers wanted for their connection to the importation of 661 pump action rifles into the country. The officers, Abdullahi I. and Odiba haruna Inah were said to have cleared the cargo illegally and are now on the run.

Matthew Brinton, a beggar in England’s Cornwall county, has earned the wrath of locals after he was spotted getting into an Audi TT in a parking lot near Bank Street. Five oil companies have been linked with the $153million seized from former Minister of Petroleum Resources Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, The Nation learnt yesterday.
The chief executives of the oil firms are believed to have gone underground to evade arrest, prompting investigators to believe that they may have opted to forfeit the cash.

WhatsApp May Soon Inform You If Friends Change Status Messages

WhatsApp’s Android and iOS beta avatars have gotten a number of fresh tools that focus on improving the Status feature and various other aspects of the app. There’s no telling when these changes will make their way to an official release.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp for iOS beta version iOS 2.17.3.28 adds the ability to get notifications when friends change their status. It looks like users will be able to set a photo or video status for a period of 24 hours, after which it gets deleted.

The young female soldier, Edache Blessing Ene, who died earlier this month has been been laid to rest. It was gathered that Eneh, 23 died while in active service with the Nigerian army. The sad incident occurred barely three months after she got engaged to her long-time lover, Khaki.

The sad story was confirmed by her brother, Ewaoche, though he did not give details on the real cause of her demise. Her remains was committed to mother earth on Friday, 27th of January in Adoka community in Otukpo LGA of Benue State. May her soul rest in peace.

The reason for their meeting is unknown.

White House Says Green Card Holders Won't be Subject to Immigration Order After All

Hours after a federal judge blocked a key component of President Donald Trump's executive order banning refugees and visitors from seven Muslim-majority countries, the White House is backtracking on the order's applicability to legal permanent residents of the U.S.

"As far as green card holders moving forward, it doesn't affect them," White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus said Sunday morning in an appearance on NBC's Meet the Press. But he added that those green card holders could be subject to additional interviews if they frequently travel to the countries in question.

A controversial Ghanaian pastor and relationship counselor, George Lutterodt, has said that the Bible does not condemn prostitution, adding that virgins are a burden to their husbands.

“Virginity is a burden,” Pastor George Lutterodt declared.

“Look, if you gather 10 men in Ghana, eight of them don’t want to have virgins because virgins are burdens. Virginity doesn’t add anything to the fun,” he said.

He argued, “If you gather 10 men in Ghana, eight of them don’t want to have a virgin, because virgins are burdens.”

"It doesn't add anything to the thing, virginity is a burden," he added.

At a point, he resorted to Ghanaian dialect, spiced with English phrases such as “unending orgasm,” “vibrators,” “spice,” “sharing vagina,” “intimacy,” and uncomplimentary words such as “ashewo” (prostitute).

Mr. Lutterodt once claimed that no man can ever satisfy a woman sexually on earth.

He said: "No man can satisfy any woman sexually on this earth, the thank you they say is appreciation for your time wasted. She is fanning your ego to let you know that you are counted among the lot. There are differences in the way we have the excitement, satisfaction and the pretences. Most of the moaning all are lies."

Nigeria’s minister of sports, Solomon Dalung is bereaved. Dalung has lost his first wife, Naomi, whome he fondly called ‘first lady’ in the wee hours on Sunday.

Dalung broke the news of her death, via his Facebook page saying:

May God grant her eternal rest. I AM BEREAVED: For it is appointed for man to live thereafter comes death and judgment says the Holy Bible. While in the Quran, it states that it is appointed that every soul shall test death. My heart is heavy, I cannot continue, I lost my first wife this morning. Niger State-based Islamic preacher and traditional healer who married 97 wives, Mohammed Masaba, has died. He was age 93.

His Personal Assistant, Alhaji Mutairu Salawudeen Bello, who confirmed Masaba’s death, said that the preacher died in his residence in Bida, Niger State, on Saturday, January 28th, after a brief illness. He would be buried today at 10:AM.

A tourist has been mauled by three tigers in front of his wife and child after he reportedly climbed into the enclosure and walked towards the animals as they were being fed. Footage shows the man writhing around on the ground in agony as they passed him between their massive paws.

Zoo keepers tried to frighten the animals away with firecrackers and water canons, but they were undeterred.The animals then bit into his head and neck and ripped off his clothes, leaving him face down on the ground in just his pants.

Doctors in India were stunned to remove a tapeworm measuring more than 6 feet through a patient’s mouth, according to a report published this week in the New England Journal of Medicine.

Dr. Cyriac Phillips wrote in an email that the 48-year-old man underwent a colonoscopy in 2014 after complaints of “tolerable” abdominal pain that had gone on for two months and test results indicating low hemoglobin concentrations in his blood.

The federal court for the Eastern District of New York issued the stay on Saturday evening after only two of 12 refugees held at JFK airport were released, after 14 and 24 hours in detention respectively.

James and Claire Weir from Paisley, Scotland, thought their twins Annabelle (left) and Imogen (right) would die. The identical sisters were born three days under the 24-week legal limit for abortion - making them the youngest twins ever recorded in Britain. They were so tiny they couldn't even wear clothes for fear their delicate skin might tear.

Bouncing on their mother’s lap, little Annabelle and Imogen Weir are the picture of contentment.

Yet this happy, smiling pair faced a battle for survival when they were born at only 23 weeks and four days – making them among the youngest twins ever recorded in Britain.

Annabelle weighed just under a pound. Imogen was just over – and their lives hung in the balance when they came into the world unexpectedly last April.

The Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee said people who had already landed were being sequestered at airports and told they have to return to their point of origin.

The Department of Homeland Security issued a directive at 4:30 p.m. ordering the Customs and Border Protection to enforce the executive order.
