The Queen Had The Best Reaction To Meghan’s Family Drama

The unending drama between Meghan Markle and her family is something worthy of its very own Kardashian-esque reality show.
Each week brings a new sensational headline thanks to her father, Thomas Markle, brother, Thomas Markle Jr. or sister Samantha Markle. Even Meghan’s estranged cousins have jumped at the opportunity to get their five-minutes in the limelight.
"Meghan is absolutely broken by the drama with her father," a source close to the former Suits star has revealed to US Weekly.

"There’s no way she can have a relationship with him or even reach out to him to stop him from speaking. She knows he’ll record the conversation and sell it. She has high anxiety wondering if this will go on forever."

But with the trials and tribulations that have come from Meghan's family drama, the 37-year-old has found an unlikely royal ally. According to a Buckingham Palace insider, Queen Elizabeth II has expressed sympathy and support for the personal struggles Meghan has had to face with becoming a new royal.
"What may surprise some is just how supportive Her Majesty has been during the problems Meghan has faced with her family,” the insider shared. "Meghan is in a tough place, and the Queen knows it’s completely out of Meghan’s hands. She has only sympathy for what’s been a difficult and distressing situation for her.
The unlikely bond between Her Majesty and the former actress is something that was meticulously crafted by Prince Harry in the early stages of his relationship. When the red-haired royal sensed that things were becoming more serious with Meghan, he requested a formal meeting with his grandmother.

"He wanted to make sure every family member knew that the queen supported the relationship," another source explained. "And how important it would be for Meghan, who’s from a very different background, to feel welcomed and supported."
As it happens, the 92-year-old monarch did not need much convincing. "The Queen became fond of Meghan at their first meeting,” says the insider. "Not just because she’s the charming woman who brought happiness into her grandson’s life, but also because she quickly demonstrated that she’s intelligent, polite and keen to learn."

Meghan Markle has been embarrassed numerous times by her family ever since her relationship with Prince Harry was made public and the Queen’s reaction to all of this has now been revealed.

Meghan’s father and her half-siblings have been granting interviews to speak ill of Meghan and the royal family. But according to an insider, The Queen has been supportive of the new Duchess of Sussex and has sympathy for her.

An insider close to Meghan told US Weekly on Wednesday;

The palace insider added the 92-year-old monarch has great admiration for Meghan Markle.

While Meghan and the queen come from two very different backgrounds and generations, there’s a warmth between the two that’s genuine and loving, said the source.

Another source added that Harry was determined to make sure Queen Elizabeth and Markle had a close bond, so he requested a sit-down with his grandmother when he knew his romance with Markle was getting serious.
