Abdulrasak Okoya Celebrates His 77th Birthday With His Wife, Shade

Renown Nigerian industrialist CHIEF ABDULRASAK AKANNI OKOYA recently celebrated his 77th birthday with his family and friends in attendance.

Operatives of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS, Adeniji Adele Road, Laos Island, have arrested two suspected notorious robbers terrorizing and robbing residents of Ire Akari street, Ejigbo and Isolo areas of Lagos, snatching and vandalizing vehicles in the area for long.

Police identified the suspects as Chinedu Ajogwu, 24 and Uchenna Chukwudi Mbah, 33.

The alleged ring leader simply known as ‘Small’ is said to be at large.

This is the moment two adulterous lovers were publicly shamed after they got stuck together during sex and were forced to call for help.

Two months after a similar occurrence happened in Kenya, another married woman and her lover got stuck in bed after her husband had consulted a witch-doctor for a charm.

According to Tuko News, the adulterous couple from Kisii region of Kenya were recently nabbed at a hotel, where they were committing the act.

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested popular club owner, Pretty Mike for putting leash on young girls and walking them around.

The club owner whose real name is Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu caused a stir on the internet after pictures of him leading girls with chains around their necks went viral, with many calling for his arrest.

Nwogu reportedly wrote an undertaking promising to desist from such act.

A middle-aged woman gave birth to a baby boy inside a BRT bus earlier in the day.

An official of Diamond Bank Plc, Ademola Oshodi, narrated to a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja on Monday how he helped Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia wire thousands of United States of American dollars to a company named Silver Steps Incorporated in the United Kingdom.

The banker said he picked up a cash of $120,000 from the judge’s chambers on May 10, 2013, and assisted the judge to wire the money to the UK company in tranches of $10,000 over 12 days.

First Bank of Nigeria Limited has increased transfer transaction limits on its FirstMobile Lifestyle app from N500,000 to a maximum daily limit of N1m.

The Head, Digital Banking, First Bank, Mrs. Folasade Femi-Lawal, in a statement on Monday said the lender would continue to leverage evolving technologies to support consumers’ lifestyle, the News Agency of Nigeria reported.

Adeboye Blasts FG Over Laws Targeted At Christians,Tells RCCG To Prepare For 2019

General Overseer (Worldwide) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has warned the Federal Government to stop meddling in church matters.

Adeboye, who spoke yesterday at the Redemption Camp, Kilometre 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, expressed worries over deliberate anti-Christian laws by the Federal Government against Christians.

Following the announcement of new leadership of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Nigeria by the General Overseer, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, on Saturday, more reactions have continued to trail the development.

A sickening video appearing to show a toddler shooting a prisoner dead in a ball pit in Syria has been published online by Islamic State.

There are strong indications that the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Okechukwu Enelamah, and the Executive Secretary of the Financial Regulatory Council of Nigeria, Mr. Jim Obazee, are currently engaged in a face-off over an FRCN regulation, which stipulates 20 years tenure for heads of religious groups and civil society groups in the country.

Reliable information gathered in Abuja on Sunday indicates that the minister had written the FRCN boss, directing him to suspend the implementation of the controversial regulation.

But it was learnt that Obazee defied the instruction of the minister, insisting that the implementation of the regulation would go ahead.
