Police Arrest Badoo ‘s High Priest Fatai Adebayo, Ruin Shrine

34-year old Fatai Adebayo was fetched from his shrine at 38, Ayegbami Quarters, Odogbolu Local Government area of Ogun state.
His capture was sequel to the confession of some arrested Badoo members who revealed to the Lagos Police Command that the shrine was their spiritual base for oaths taking and diabolic backing before the commencement of each of their gruesome operations.

Adebayo operated in a wooden kiosk situated in his family compound where he lives with his wife and mother.

The kiosks was ridden with varying fettish accessories including figurines, rocks, bottles of mixture, cowry-embedded apron, pictures of white men and women, black pots, goats, chickens among others.

Badoo Cult Strikes Again, Attacks Family Of Three In Ikorodu Lagos

The dreaded Badoo cult has striked again in the Ibeshe area of Ikorodu, Lagos.
According to reports, the attack occurred around 3am, claimed the life of the man identified as Shakiru, while his wife and six-month-old baby, who were critically injured are in a coma at the moment.

The victims were said to have been rushed to the Ikorodu General Hospital, from where they were referred to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chike Oti, in a statement on Sunday, confirmed the murder, adding that the command was on the trail of the fleeing suspects.

Ex -Nigeria Goalkeeper, Raymond King Dies At 52 After Suffering A Partial Stroke

A former Flying Eagles and Abiola Babes goalkeeper, Raymond King, aka Ramoni Oba as he was popularly called at the then UAC stadium, Surulere Lagos is dead.

He died on Monday after suffering a partial stroke which lasted for some days.

Before his death, the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Ogun State Chapter, was trying to raise funds for his treatment.

The deceased was a goalkeeper trainer for Gateway FC of Ogun State, but his appointment was terminated alongside other technical crew members of the club, following poor performances. He has since remained jobless over eight years after the sack.

King was a goalkeeper for the Flying Eagles between 1979 and 1980.

A 1,000C inferno that incinerated up to 1,600 vehicles in a car park 'could have been stopped' if sprinklers had been fitted in the building. Fire engulfed seven floors of the multi-storey car park at the Echo Arena on Liverpool's waterfront after a Land Rover burst into flames which quickly spread to other vehicles on Sunday night.

Lagos Discovers N13m From Accounts Of Dead Staff

The Lagos State Government has recovered N13 million paid into accounts of dead colleagues and overpaid salaries of staff in its ministries and parastatals. This is just as it had demolished 12 buildings in the state in a move to prevent the occurrence of building collapse.

This was contained in a document obtained from the state government on activities of its  Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDA) during the third quarter of 2017. It was disclosed in the document that the recovered N13 million belong to deceased staff,  those that had stayed beyond their stipulated retirement date and those who were overpaid monthly salary.

The police have said that making phone calls at filling stations is a criminal offence which could land the offender in jail.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, stated that an offender could be prosecuted and jailed for attempted arson.

He noted that police officers have the authority to arrest anyone found making phone calls or smoking at filling stations.

Monster Dad 'Fathered Eight Children With Own Daughter After Keeping Her As Sex Slave For 20 YEARS'

An Argentine man, Domingo Bulacio, 57, who repeatedly raped his daughter, fathering eight children with her while she was his sex slave for 22 years, has been jailed for 12 years and eight months.

The serial rapist was sentenced on Wednesday for multiple sex crimes by three judges at a court in the northern city of Santiago del Estero. 

Domingo's relatives were among the 50 witnesses who gave evidence at the hearing.

His daughter who testified, reportedly told the court that he had turned her into his sex slave at seven-years-old when her mother left their home. 

According to her, the abuse continued over the next 22-years, during which time, she gave birth to eight of his children.

First Identified Victims Of Bronx Fire That killed 12 As Mayor De Blasio Reveals The City's Worst Blaze For 25 Years Was Caused By A Three-Year-old Boy Playing With A Stove

Investigators in New York City searched early on Friday for the cause of a fast-moving blaze that ripped through an apartment building in the Bronx and killed at least 12 people, including four children, and left 15 others injured. Officials say the youngest victim in the fire that destroyed an apartment building near the Bronx Zoo is a one-year-old girl who died in a bathtub being held by her mother, who also perished in the blaze. The other three children who died were two girls aged two and seven and an unidentified boy. Three women aged 19, 37 and 63 have also been identified by police. 

The five-alarm fire broke out a little before 7pm on the first floor of a brick building at East 185th Street and Prospect Avenue and quickly spread upstairs, city Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro said alongside New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio during a press conference. The cause of the city's deadliest fire in at least a quarter of a century was under investigation. Investigators said a natural gas line may have fueled the flames of the blaze.

A former permanent secretary in the administration of former governor of Katsina State, Ibrahim Shehu Shema, Yusuf Sule Saulawa was today December 29, 2017, convicted by Justice Sanusi Tukur of the Katsina State High Court of one count of Obtaining by False Pretense.

The convict fraudulently obtained the sum of N2.5 million from the complainant while he was a permanent secretary attached to the office of the Deputy Governor of Katsina State on the pretext that the office would award the complainant a contract for the supply of fertilizer to all the Local Government areas in Katsina State. Saulawa claimed that the money was for the purchase of bidding documents. It was further alleged that after obtaining the money, the convict cut all contacts with the complainant.

Churches And Mosques To Pay Tax In Lagos; Land Use Charge To Be Reviewed

Determined to jack up its internally generated revenue (IGR) for development by 100 per cent, a bill that would review Land Use Charge in the state had gone through second reading on the floor of the State House of Assembly during plenary yesterday.

The law tagged “A Bill for A Law To Repeal The Land Use Charge Law 2001 and Enact Land Use Charge 2017 and For Connected Purposes” was subsequently committed to the House Adhoc Committee on Finance headed by Hon. Yinka Ogundimu. According to the Speaker of the House, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, the law was all about increasing the revenue generation of the state.
