Popular Balogun Market Lagos Island On Fire Again (Photos)

The popular Balogun market in Lagos Island, Lagos State was today, January 12, the scene of a raging inferno.
The fire is believed to have started in the early hours of the morning and has destroyed four houses, five plazas and a bank building in the area.
The cause of the fire is unknown but men of the fire service have since arrived at the scene to tackle the blaze.
This comes after a fire also razed a settlement in Ebute Metta, beside the Third Mainland Bridge yesterday night.

Property worth millions has been lost after raging fire gutted the multi-storey Euro-Asia Plaza in the popular Balogun Market on Lagos Island. The fire has reportedly gutted 4 buildings at the moment and is still raging on.
According to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the fire started at about 4.36am from an unknown source and has been raging despite efforts by the Fire service to put itunder control
